I'm interested in a pair of Trickers Stows 4497 last. Normally i wear a uk 9,5 in dress shoes and a us 10,5 in sebago like shoes.

Since i have a splayfoot, may i size down a half since like suggested on many forums or may it be better to have a little roomier boot?

I can't try them on, here we haven't a retailer sadly..

What should fit better uk 9 or uk 9,5?

    Thank you

    9.5, 5 fitting/normal width.

Err on the roomier side for country boots to fit in thick socks.

Yeah, for the Stow go for your proper size. For any of their country footwear on the 4444 last, drop half a size.

    More than welcome, mate!

And yeah, they're fantastic aren't they? Just a shade too big for me. If you're interested, drop me a line and we can sort something out...

Thank you but those seem out of my budget sadly.. I'm looking more for a pair of old Trickers in brown zug leather, shoes as well as boots. Something like Matlocks or the vintage veldt boots you had last month in ebay.. Yesterday a was overbidden on a pair of vintage zug brogues :(
Do you have some in your collection that you want to sell?

I usually wear a 9 UK and wear a 9.5 UK in the Stow and Burford.

    Greetings,

Has anyone tried on the Tricker's Eaton boot on 4497 LAST?
I am considering a pair, however the only available size is in 6 UK

and I hear there is a bit more room on this particular style.

I wear a 6.5 UK on stow which I believe is 4444 last and they fit quite nicely.
My fear is that 6UK will be a rather snug fit.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.*

Stow is typically on 4497 last.
A 4497 Eaton is going to fit the same as a 4497 Stow.
