What do you think about cuff styles 13D and 15D? Are there any RTW shirts that have those kinds of cuffs? I'd like to see some pics as I'm having difficulty evaluating whether they're cool or just weird.

No pics, sorry, but I'd vote "wierd". And I don't see how they could be French (double) cuffs. It seems they would have to be single link cuffs, but still, very wierd.

With exception of one shirt out of about 40, all mine are square. The two you note are indeed a little odd.

Is there any benefit other than aesthetic for the various shapes?

Both might be less likely to snag and stay stuck outside your jacket cuff. Otherwise no obvious benefit. I don't know, why not try it for a casual shirt?

I usually get 11D. The benefit is primarily aesthetic but shapes like 4D, 7D and 11D will not snag as often.

This is begining to stray from my original question about 13D and 15D...

I've thought about getting the rounded ones, 4D and 7D, but I hesitate because I think I would have to get rounded collars to match. What do you think?

I would support the notion of matching the shape of the collar with the shape of the cuffs.
