Okay this sounds like a bit of an odd question but there is a reason to it.

I'm graduating college in a little over a week and with it a full time job two days after graduation! So I want to reinvent my image, new me, fresh start.

I've had some bad luck with barbers and hair stylists in the past and lately just stick to a few local shops that can do the simple haircut I currently have, never paying more than $12 for a cut, I can't expect much. I want to try for something more stylish and not just a simple cut all around, problem is I don't think any barbers near me could pull it off (Lebanon, PA near Harrisburg, PA). I'm willing to travel to Philly, NYC, some area's in between. If I can at least get it done right the first time I'll find a more local place to continue the style. Who has some recommendations?

Current hairstyles (Bottom was my old hairstyle)

Proposed

Going with the side parted, thin on the sides hairstyle

It doesn't seem complicated of a haircut but after the hack jobs I've had before with some places I am worried to take the leap.

Thanks Guys!

Few good stylists in NYC including Trumans and Erica Flieshman (Janney)
