If I thought it might rain later, or just if it's cloudy, cool and windy, then sure.

I have an actual overcoat, so if it's overcoat weather, then I wouldn't wear a raincoat. If it's the kind of temperature where a raincoat over a jacket or suit would be comfortable, I might be inclined to just grab a heavier suit or jacket. If the day demands something over that exact warmth, then I will go for it.

You don't want to be the guy from Metropolitan, though. "No, it's quite warm. It has a lining."
