Tree Sap is BS.. Help please

So im working on my first month in my my first pair of nudies RRDG. I lean up against a tree, not thinking, and now there is sap all over the butt of my nudies. Does anyone know how to get this crap off???

There are tree sap removal supplies and techniques for automobiles. I am not sure if it would damage the denim but you could try anything on a small spot or another pair. I would research that before trying anything for gum. Good luck.
