Hello, everyone! I am a 28yr old college study here in Montana and I'm looking for a little advice for my trip to Bali I'll be taking in about a month. I'm going with a really cute girl I met a few months back and one thing that I am noticing is my sense of style is lacking... very lacking. I was hoping for a little fashion advice, we plan on hitting the beach, night life, and just normal exploring.

My build: 6', slender, fair skin (tanning before I go), blonde hair, blue eyes

I feel and hold myself confidently if I know that I look good, but getting there is so damn hard for me haha. I would love your thoughts on the style, color, and types of clothes that would go well with my build. Not only am I trying to make an impression on this girl, (who quite frankly is a wee bit out of my range) but I would also like to view my vacation pics with happy memories instead of "i spent the whole time on clothes when planning this trip, and now that I look at the pics I look out of place and wrong".

Definitely look into Gareth Pugh. It will go well with your build and make an impression on this girl. You will also not stick out too much as the Balinese people dress in a similar way.

dude, for hitting the beach , just wear what you normally see people wear on the beach in LA or something ...
for the night life, wear something simple, polo tee with khakis or slim cut jeans .. and boat shoes.
no flip flops if i were you.

I will be hitting Bali in june too, how long will you be there ?

most every other tourist there is gonna be bogan as ****, so you'll only need to put in a bit of effort to look a whole bunch better than everyone else there.
beachwise, get some decent and well cut shorts. not knee length, not ball-hugging, nothing too ridic on the patterns, and minimal branding.
other than that, you're coming up on monsoon season so it'll be humid. lightweight chinos and button down shirts. pair of boat shoes. get a five-pack of white v-neck undershirts. you're set.

If your coming from Montana where it's pretty cold don't wear denim in Indonesia....it will be incredibly uncomfortable. I've seen the locals do it, but if your a westerner and not used to heat like that it will be hell.
