Some magazine such as Details, GQ, or Esquire had an article on some traveling cook who would go on a bus from farm to farm and use the locally grown ingredients to cook some food. You have to sign up in advance and seating is usually outdoors on the farm...

Does anyone remember or recall what I am talkinga bout?

Any one have any more info on this? I know there is a website but I have forgotten everything except the concept...

He's just harvesting ingredients for the cook out. Fromage de tête must be on the menu, yummo.
