Hi there guys. I have a 'capsule wardrobe' that I take with me when travelling, but I've put on a bit of weight so I need to buy some new pants, and I'm having a bit of trouble picking which colour (I'm really bad with matching my pants colours). I need to get two pairs, and here are my choices:
Sandstorm
Flat Black
Navy
Olive drab
Charcoal grey
I'm looking for the best colour to match the tops I own already, which are...
A grey hoodie
A denim twill wool work shirt
A white/navy check button down
A phantom (slightly lighter shade of black) long sleeve
A navy t shirt
A dark grey/black t shirt
A light grey t shirt
A burgundy t shirt
My first thought was to just go with the black and navy, since I've been told dark colours are best for travel, what with stains and all.
But again, I suck at matching tops with pants, so I don't really know what would be the most versatile choice. If you could lend a hand, it would be much appreciated! Thanks
I have black hair and I'll be wearing black shoes, as anything else takes a lot of punishment in my experience with stains and everything. I'm a bit worried about lighter colours since they easily pick up stains, but I'll go on your advice guys, thanks!
