My wife and I just purchased tickets to London for the post Christmas season. We plan to do some shopping in London then Paris.

I am trying to talk her into going to Belgium. I would like to tour some Belgian Abbey's, specifically Chimay. Is it possible to do this in a one day trip?

May not be feasible to do multiple abbeys(in a single day and still get to Paris). I believe they're in pretty out of the way places, and the travelling would probably have to be done in local trains, which are slow. Then again, I've only been to Brussels, so take that for what its worth.

one abbey should allways suffice, especially since most abbey breweries have the allways perfect "product confrontation" at the end of the tour
