That or he's some poor guy with low-level Asberger's who literally can't understand rejection or sarcasm.

who knew that liberals could be so mean?

I am curious: does this have anything to do with Manton editing some of his older posts (and his conspicuous absence)?
I just noticed that he deleted many of his older posts in late September 2007. What's up with that?

Someone theorized that he's running for public office and wants a clean electronic trail?

I highly doubt Mantoni is running for office. It's more likely that he's working on a campaign.

There is a NSFW pic in the picture wars thread that you may want to delete.
You mean the one GQGeek just posted here?

I thought you couldn't edit/delete posts more than two weeks old. But if thiis were true, how would one go about finding out _when_ someone deleted a post?

Sounds like a rumor, but I'd be curious to have some confirmation of it.

That is so weird. Never mind that I thought it was impossible.

Indeed. But if Manton were going to go through and delete old posts, why those, on the merits of the 707 last (and three years old, no less)? It doesn't make any sense. If the motivation were politics, I could see the case for cleansing the Herman Kahn posts, for example. But Flusser, ca. 2004?

Don't let his disheveled appearance fool you. Alan Flusser is a very powerful man who should not be crossed.
