For some reason I am unable to open Steve B.'s "Bush Bails Out Mortgages" thread.

I think it was squirreled for redundancy.

Hey, J. Is there a way to embed youtube videos into posts instead of just links? If not, do you think you could implement something like that of superfuture's
IMPORTANT NOTICE: No media files are hosted on these forums. By clicking the link below you agree to view content from an external website. We can not be held responsible for the suitability or legality of this material. If the video does not play, wait a minute or try again later. I AGREE

TIP: to embed Youtube clips, put only the encoded part of the Youtube URL, e.g. eBGIQ7ZuuiU between the tags. ? There have been a couple instances in the past few months where i wanted to do so but could not figure out how. Thanks

I'd rather not, videos have a tendency to slow down computers/browsers... until I am convinced otherwise, people can post the links.

j has said that he would rather not have StyleForum come up on a google search of various unsavory topics. That's a good enough reason for me.

    Yep.

I think it was squirreled for redundancy.

    Yep.

Do the videos still slow down computers even though they don't actually play unless you click on them? Until them, it's just an embedded image. It's not that big a deal, i was just curious.

What happened to the girlfriend/overreacting thread? I can't imagine how it could go wrong.

hahaha. I was kinda confused/suprised of all the dump her advice. I did think it was dumb that he didn't talk about problems with her and get shit out in the open, but he probably talked to her, made up, and didn't want that thread around anymore or something.

I don't know myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if he requested that the thread be moved.

It's working fine for me - is anyone else having this happen?

No, but when I try searching using the google function, it opens two identical windows with the results of my search. No big deal, but strange.
