Anyone who gets angry at a specific poster, and instead of engaging in a reasonable manner, throws a temper tantrum that lasts an entire day and spans 300+ posts, does not get another chance. Kindly stay off the forum so that I can get some work done. Thanks.

what's with the uptic in totally random "free offer" spam (and ehre I dont mean just trolls or chinese companies hawking sneakers)? Have people been clicking their links?? [IMG]
It might just be that SF's been ranking higher in traffic. That's all it takes to get targeted by bots.

What did she say that was so offensive?

Coincidentally, that thread marks the first and only time the "200+ post in less than 12 hours" troll said something sensible. [IMG]

    >>>+1 Strange things happen when mods go to sleep. Yeah, maybe a "citizen's arrest" feature could be implemented to put prolific new trolls into detention until a Mod comes to the rescue [IMG]

That would be useful. Say, if a new member gets flagged by three or four different members, their account is locked until a mod bans or unlocks them. Not sure if that can be done...

That would be useful for drunk-tanking Conne now and then, although I would foresee a mob rule risk...

Simply banning all these new user accounts will get you nowhere - trust me/us.

Well I do apologise for offending people with my posts. I honestly didn't mean to demean the military and their families. So please accept my apology for any offense taken.

Just checked. Yes, the thread was deleted. We are deleting the purely gross threads. If you feel the need to discuss gross news stories, there are plenty of other fora on which to do so.

To the spammer: You are doing the British military a disservice by your behavior. I am very tempted to bring back the innane thread that started this. I will probably leave it up and lock it just to piss you off, like you are me.
At first I thought Labelking had started dropping acid.

While I would say it was a disturbing news story I don't know if it was necessarily "purely gross". Oh well, no big deal. Is there a place where it gets posted when threads/comments are deleted/modified?
