1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Forum seems very laggy. Lots of hang time when loading a page. Often just fails to load. Anyone else notice?

Strangely, the # of people online has twice dropped from over 1,000 to near zero in an instant.

If we're recommending smilies, i've always liked this one from an old forum i was on in high school. It's very suggestive and naughty. I'm sure people would get some use out of it [IMG]

Have to agree with Kwilk. Thanks for fixing the issue J and the downtime actually made me stop browsing and finish off some stuff at work.

I hit refresh for the first 5 minutes and then worked for the last 5 of the day.

I clicked refresh a few times and then thought to myself, "Damn, I guess I should probably get some work done now".

Whenever this seller posts stuff in B&S, he bumps his items constantly with small price drops, needless replies, and other inane chatter. http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?p=2132279
Mr Moo isn't so bad at the bumps. But lately, there have been a lot of unnecessary bumps which keep a few sellers' posts at the top and the irregular sellers' posts vanish. Beginning to think that the only reason for a bump should be 10% discount across the board (not just on one item out of 5 listed) - and cap the no. of them per thread (to discourage stupid pricing and 20 bumps following it). The following are recent examples - and many were consecutive posts in the same threads eg the bottom 3.
