At least I'm not an antisemitic Holocaust denier
Ditto. Can we hug it out? [IMG]
Yeah, but I don't think you got my point.
I did - the 'tooth fairies' are common in SE Asia, though it does get a bit tricky to sift them from the 'haters'. [IMG]

Silverback just received a 2-week time out. He's been pushing the envelope and accusing someone of having a Nazi Grandfather went beyond the pale.

Hey, that was in my thread!

I have an Irish Grandfather. He's killed a lot of people for America.

What are they teaching you kids in OZ? Just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Not knowing about something isn't the same at denying. You need to know enough about the circumstances before you can deny something ever happened, providing evidence to the contrary. That then leaves a question of motivation.

The first reaction of most people (US and Europe), when presented with a Holocaust denial, is to believe it's motivated by antisemitism. I'm one of those people unless shown otherwise, but at that point I'm not interested in anything a denier has to say on the subject. The denier is wrong and defending an indefensible position.

The thread is gone so I'm not going to dwell on it any further. If you visit the US or Europe, please visit a concentration camp or Holocaust museum for a sobering experience.

Connemara is a proto-simpering east coast elitist, is that deserving of banning?

+1. Hit and run, it's what I do on this subfora.

How is it any worse than anything else that gets spewed in DT? Really dude? Have you read some of the stuff from SField, Why and others? It's hardly bringing down the image of that subfora! [IMG]

You keep using this word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
