1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

What is the caper with editing thread titles again?

I don't have an advanced edit option and there is no edit option when going through the thread tools menu (these are the two methods that I came up with when searching)

we have to do it. PM me the change you want.

squirrels have bowels too. I didnt banish that particular one, but defecation threads have never been particularly welcome here. That one lasted longer than most.

Fair enough, but everyone was participating quite enthusiastically.

I just added this to the B&S rules, but cross-posting here cos I suspect no-one reads the rules anyhow...

    -

Forum moderators are not small claims court judges.

Any resemblance between Steve B and Judge Judy is purely coincidental.

B&S is a buyer beware board provided for your convenience, and mods do not intervene in buyer/seller disputes.

Please do not PM us with "well he said it measured 32 but actually it is 31.5 and the zip didnt work and clearly the pictures are another item and I think it may be fake and I could have bought it at Yoox and..." - we don't care and we don't get involved.

Can we please pin the "I'm leaving SF" thread? That way the next time Conne announces it he can just recycle the original post.

The weepy "im leaving" thread is a cherished SF institution. If you ban the authors of these threads they cant slink back later to receive their much deserved abuse and their hearty welcome home.

Ah, yes, the wondrous "Goodbye, Cruel Board!" Could we ban conne for a week or so, though? I think there must be come sort of punishment for getting all of our hopes up in making us think he was really gone. [IMG]

Yea, +1. He's gone a bit overboard with it, bringing back some threads from the dead, etc.
