1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Ignore him...he's a smalltimer. [IMG]

But, actually...I agree with you. The amount of personal attacks directed at another forum member has certainly increased lately.

I thought it was the holiday spirit filling everyone with love and caring.

Just sit back and enjoy it, buttnuggets.

The level of personal insults in here is reaching a fever pitch.. I mean, poking fun at each other in a humorous manner is one thing, but some of the stuff I am reading in some of these threads is borderline juvenile, and well beyond anything I have seen here in the 3 or so years I've been reading..

    kthxb,

You don't have to look very far. It really does change the tone of the place markedly, and my worry is people stop posting because of it. Anyway, just my opinion, and I have some of the worst offenders on ignore, but its still pretty clear when a schoolyard "your dad's a car salesman; well your dad's a janitor; well you're poor..." is going on..

You're not the only one seeing it. My ignore list has been growing lately, and my browsing and posting has decreased. I've got some interesting new purchases that I would have put in the shoe pr0n thread and elsewhere, but I really don't care that much anymore.

Normally I go for an artful insult or twenty, but this is getting to be a bit much for me. Maybe I'm not in the right mood for it at the moment. Or maybe we're sacrificing quality for quantity now.

None come to mind, and I'm not inclined to look for them either. Sorry.

We're gonna need a separate forum for the volume of Engineered Garments spam pretty soon. At least the Tom Ford topics are funny.

Actually, a separate designer forum would be great.
