1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

We seem to be experiencing a locust plague of spammers on B&S at present. It's like seeing Sybil again, watching them talk amongst themselves.

2 signs of a stupid spammer

    1) Logging into multiple accounts using the same IP.

    2) Spamming in a foreign language. No way you are getting away with it. You can't even take on different persona effectively

I dunno, I kinda enjoy it. Its one of the first things I scan the Recent Posts for every morning, to see what feeble, transparent bullshit those kooky spammers have come up with overnight.

A rather delayed "thank you" to J for adding the new option to show search results as posts on the quick search...

Charley has been timed out for a week.

When a moderator tells you to not troll in the Current Events forum, of all places, you know that you have really crossed the line. Next time you want to be timed out, you don't need to post a new thread mocking the moderator's instructions. You can just PM me requesting a timeout, and I'd be happy to oblige.

    Fok.

Charley's been channelling vanity? Sorry I missed that.

That feature certainly has its charms, no disagreement there.

For anyone who did not read the friendly rules j. posted, don't troll another member. You know who you are - we had to spamminate your fake name and your troll thread. Do it again, and you are going to get a big, long time out. Or a permanent ban.

Ummm, I'm still seeing the fake name in the users online list -- could you guys have accidentally spamminated the real Fan?

I like the username of our new member nakedgirl [IMG] At least she gets right to the point; though she's not answering my PMs [IMG]

Did the font change last night? Or something else? My brain is saying something is different.

I think it's that the topics are no longer underlined unless you have recently viewed them.

Ah, ok ok. I was wondering the same thing as chorse123, I thought I accidentally decreased the font size again with the scrollwheel...

I notice when you "mark forum read" it doesnt unbold the new topics...I preferred it the other way where it unbolds after marking it read

Hmmmmmmm. I'll look into this. Basically I just wanted to do away with the underlines since they clutter it up visually.
