How about bumping, reasonably? I have a load of stuff for sale, but people can't see my thread after a few hours because it's disappeared into page 2-5. In the mean time, I've sold a few things. So, can I bump it without reducing prices?

I see no problem with that. We encourage threads with multiple items for sale - they offer more content, and clog up the forum less, so I think that a post stating that XYZ items have been sold, and that the original post has been updated to reflect this, would be perfectly acceptable. I would not consider that a gratuitous bump.

So can I update my thread with a post as to what has been sold or not?

My post is a day and 1/2 old and is now on page 5 and it has had 3 views today. If it is reasonable to bump my post with an update I'd like to do so, but I think I need an official ruling here.

I don't know. It's too confusing for me. I'd say updates after a couple days are okay, but incessant bumping with "x still available" "x sold" "PM replied" etc. are out.

    ^^^

That reminds me, J. I like the subforum but am confused about starting a thread. Should I size down 2?

Figured I'd point this out too, not sure if there is a way to fix it so that the replies in the Dumb Threads forvm don't show up under E&C unless that's how you want it.
Edit- crap, sorry for the small pic. Hope everyone has good eyesight, Photobucket likes to compress things.

I nominate the 100% correct 0% wrong thread as a dumb thread candidate.

Is that thread 100% dumb and 0% not dumb, or is it only 66% dumb and 33% not dumb, or maybe...

Did anyone else find their SF clock jump out of whack for no particular reason?

ie - mine is set to recognise my timezone, it is correctly set as "GMT+7, Hanoi, Bangkok, Jakarta".

It is now 12.44, but my SF posts are coming up as 1.44 - an hour ahead.

    Just me?
