The Jarhead trailer was awesome. The movie wasn't.

The "˜Dune' trailer just has to be better than the film. It's only 3 minutes long, for a start.

Wrong. I almost didn't see this because the trailer was so lame, then I watched the movie and loved it.

Huge +1 with the Watchmen.

I still go back and watch the trailer (the one with Smashing Pumpkins' "The End is the Beginning is the End" music) and imagine what the movie would have really been like if it had lived up to the trailer hype.

I nominate M. Night's Signs and the Village as being two trailers I really got excited about only to be let down hard.
