And how often does that happen?
Having said that, this is going to blow.
Bryan Cranston as villain and both leading ladies' asses will be the only two reasons I watch this.
Cautiously optimistic. And I like that they're not setting it on Mars. They seem to be making a completely different movie, which is good, because no one can beat Verhoeven at being Verhoeven. If this follows the True Grit model of reboots, it just might be worth watching.
Is the 3 breasted alien going to be in it? Without her, the movie just isn't the same.
Skeptical to quite skeptical, even after the trailer (which underwhelmed me).
Best DVD commentary ever
"heh heh heh, I continuously use them as a human shield."
Sounds like they're staying closer to the original story. Probably should have just called it "The Memory Wholesalers" or something, to avoid the direct comparison to the Ahnold epic.
I really do hate that it's not being set on Mars.
If they are going to remake it, I think it's better they don't follow the plot of the original wholesale, otherwise what is the point? If it's not on mars there must be significant changes to the plot, which is good. I guess the original movie is old enough that most young people haven't seen it and won't care.
Agreed. Depending on the plot it could actually be decent.
