I have a pair of leather boots that say Toscana by Global Made In Italy ... I cannot find any information on these however I do know they were very expensive. Any info would be appreciated.

I'm assuming you saw that stamp on the bottom of the sole. If that's the case, your boots were re-soled. "Toscana" is an Italian brand of soles. We use it all the time. It's of excellent quality, super prime. "Global" refers to a conglomerate of shoe repair suppliers that co-op some of their large purchases. If you see "Global" marked on any products in your local repair shop, most likely the shop's supplier is a member of that conglomerate.

Well - this is interesting because now I found on the zipper a Yves St Laurent insignia but a think a new innersole was put in as well - is this possible? I am trying to sell these and now am at a loss as to how to describe them!
