Tortoiseshell sunglasses are the business. The bigger the sides the better. Old Ari Onassis used to wear superb ones. As you can tell I like them.

Don't shoot the messenger. The book was unusually scathing in its attitudes towards fake tortoiseshell.

Whether it is the width of lapels, ties, the point of shoes, the sides to glasses, etc....it is always better to stay away from the extreme, IMHO.
