Anyone know of a good tailor (prefer them to be in vaughan)
that will do surgeon cuffs (hopefully not too expensive).

Also require them to do other work.

    thanks

funny enough, brooks brothers downtown does surgeon cuffs for $60
    might have to go there.

Checked the threads out, didnt find anyone that does surgeon cuffs mentioned.

checked out custom 10 in promenade, they do not do it.

I had some done at Spiro's on Danforth a few years back for $50 per with handsewn buttonholes. I was completely satisfied.

I suspect Xavier at 10 St. Mary's Street would also do it, although I've never asked him to.

I got mine done at Magic Tailors Downtown, $35 and they did a really good job on it.

Any bespoke tailor will offer these - if they won't then avoid.

If all you are trying to do is to convert RTW into something it is not, why waste your money other than vanity?

Probably because it is just like every other purchasing or tailoring decision by anyone on this forum. Because it will give him some personal satisfaction whether anyone else knows it or not. Getting a few tweaks done to a a RTW item you like to turn it into something you really like is the kind of attention to detail that anyone who wants stye on a budget might do.

In truth i asked the question because I picked up two new suits with surgeon cuffs in the us and needed to get it done Here. Went to Brooks brothers, it was there suits bought at marshals for a song. They did a good job on it. Now have to get the same thing done on an oxxford suit as well. Have to get alterations done locally

On a somewhat related note, has anyone had experience getting surgeons cuffs on a Tom Ford at Harry Rosen? Do they do them in proper Tom Ford style or just whatever the tailor normally does with everything else?

There's a "Tom Ford style" of surgeon's cuffs?

Well...perhaps it's that they have five buttons rather than the usual four on the sleeves.

Tom Ford surgeon cuffs have 5 buttons. In addition, the last buttonhole closest to the end of the sleeve is about a third longer than the others.

Hmmm. This may be the answer to lengthening the sleeve with surgeon cuffs and only 4 buttons.
