Hi, do a search on askandyaboutclothes.com. There are several threads with photos of his work.

Lou Myles used to sell and manufacture high quality garments (they are located about 10 mins from my house just north of Toronto). It is my understanding that they no longer manufacture their own clothes and that the work is outsourced. This is the direction Lou's children have taken the business since his retirement. I presume that what you end up getting is a suit cut at Lou's store with all the sewing done off-site. I can't comment on the quality of the product that is now outsourced as I have not seen any of these new suits.

You could also consider Adrian Jules across the lake in Rochester. They are one of the leading CTM (cut, trim, make) suppliers to custom clothiers in the USA, and I understand they do work directly for customers in Rochester. My impression is that they do very good work, though I've not used them myself.

Hi. The Bespoke division of Lou Myles is done. Now they use a manufacturer which is also the one I use. You can see some of my work at the thread titled: Matt Dusk Style or at www.myspace.com/alexandersteel

Hello Damon nice work on the clothes. I am also a Custom Clothier? Personal Wardrober. I have met with Lou several times and visited his factory but I never had a chance to cut anything with him. I indesatnd that Balfour has purchased his patterns and also his staff and everything. I have been trying to gage the quality of work that Balfour does and also there is another company in Toronto called Tenuta that produces a half hymo canvas that seems to be little lighter in weight as opposed to the full canvas garments that Lou and also Balfour uses. Jules is a good house but I hear other tailors say they do not like the rigidity of thier garments. What's your take on Balfour?
