Blais does this shit all the time. I've grown used to it, but I don't think he could handle somebody else getting on his case (or lack of, since he's pretty good this season overall).

Yeah I agree. Looking back at my post, I don't think I should encourage this type of behavior. I know when I come across it IRL it's pretty annoying.

This was the second week in a row in which there was greater value in winning the quickfire than the elimination round. Mike Isabella got immunity meaning he automatically moved to the next round plus a new Toyota Prius for 8 minutes and 37 seconds of work. All Dale got was the move to the next round (which everyone else but Casey got...and the "prestige"of winning). So who would you rather be in this instance, Mike or Dale?

Will the clock finally strike midnight for Jamie tonight? And who will join her in the double elimination?

I predict Jamie and Tre will go home tonight.

I'm going to miss seeing Casey.

Jamie needs to leave ASAP, however I feel Fabio would get the axe before Tre as far as kitchen talent is concerned.

I hope Tre doesn't go. I think he is pretty funny. How about Carla, wtf is she doing there still?

I really have no desire to watch now that Casey is gone.

Who do you think will win, whiteslashasian? It's strange; these past few seasons, I've been able to predict correctly who the winner will be. This season, it's pretty much a toss-up.

I think this season was set up for Angelo to win after his upset loss last season.

I agree. Most of the chefs don't seem to have the hunger for the competition like they did in their original seasons. However Angelo has managed to keep that fire burning hot since his upset loss was so recent.

Why did his restaurant Xie Xie close? I remember reading some really good press in NYT before he was on Top Chef for the 1st time. Anytime his name is now shown on the show there is a byline for Sosa Consulting Group.

It sounds like he closed for some kind of AC renovations and then the whole building had to be renovated due to Fire Code violations (including the lounge Zanzibar next door, which sucked anyways). I think that ended up taking longer than expected and Angelo just let old Xie Xie die to focus on his Restaurant Consulting group while looking for another location to open up shop.

    The Richard/Fabio bromance is hilarious!

The right people definitely went home... and the Gangstah Marcel is quality. But he was right... Dale should not have won last week.. but it's a game, and he played well, so.. good on him.
