i used to have this shirt, then i sold it. Dior's tops always came up a bit too short on me.

+2 on the Agnes B. Great quality stuff at a very good price. I have a few of their plain button ups in my closet, nice trim fit, looks good untucked (read: not too long), good stitching and material.

Nome de Guerre - Not because of their tops or outerwear but because of the denim. Their classic fit is the perfect mix of slim leg and slouchy antifit (wear em low) for me. Also, they are always making their cuts in interesting denim. Black? Light grey selvedge? Dark grey? Inside out grey? Indigo selvedge? You name it man. Looks like they will have a charcoal this season.

AA - t shirts and boxer briefs.

J Crew - vintage polos and bermuda shorts. My hot weather uniform. Can't beat preppy for 90 degree heat.

for all you agnes b. lovers out there, where can i get some?? I went to the agnes b. homme store in NYC and they just didn't have a lot there. not only that, I didn't think the price was competitive, like $210 for a decent shirt. am I missing something? Where is the best place to buy agnes b? Thanks.

There was a dude at the DB party who had an ancient full-sized SDA wallet that was HUGE (reminded me of the South Park "anal probe" episode) but really soft after years of use.

Corter was an option (he's on this forum too under Menswear buy/sell) but I went with Unlucky for a few reasons (besides price):

Unlucky's service is amazing. He makes custom pieces, shows you photos while they are in progress and let's you decide if you still want it before you send him any money. I needed an adjustment on a belt and he covered shipping both ways and I had it back 2 days after I sent it!! He made a complete wallet for me, decided HE wasn't happy with it and made me another one from scratch within 48 hours.

With that said, I did not buy a $500 FH wallet, I did not buy a $200 Corter wallet. I bought a $75 Unlucky wallet and so I don't expect the quality to be identical to a FH or Corter wallet - but it's damn close and still one hell of a good deal IMHO.

Don't get me wrong, Corter's stuff is awesome but he's really busy and backlogged too. I'd also like to support another independent craftsman who's just getting started too. Take a look at his photobucket and you can see the quality of the work has improved greatly from first to last photo.

Anyways - apologies for jacking the thread. If you guys have any more wallet/belt questions, toss them in Unlucky's buy/sell thread.

Props to any small businessman / craftsman that shows such a dedication to "getting it right for his customers" and improving his product. I only hope that between remaking stuff and back and forth shipping he can make enough to really build it into something.

Props to you also for supporting him. I'm pretty stoked up on my leather goods at the mo, but I'll keep him in mind if I need something in the future. Especially if his quality is improving the way you said

The only label I consider my "go to" is Hickey.
