Can you guys provide a list of the consensus top wingtip shoes around here. Please provide either a link or a pic of the shoe. Doesn't have to be 10 shoes. Can be more... can be less.

Please limit yourself to posting the name of the brand, the model of the shoe, and a pic or a link.

If you want to say something else that's on your mind, go hijack someone else's thread. There are plenty of threads on this board that have gone way out of topic, so pick one of those if you want to ***** about something. If you want to increase your post count, go say hi to the newcomers in the Introduction section.

I want to learn about shoes, but it's very difficult to learn when you have to read hundreds of threads with hundreds of pages that are full of bull$hit, inside jokes between members with 20k posts ("I'll be monitoring this thread"... Who cares, troll?), and smart a$$ comments.

Thanks!

Hasn't this been done before? Either way, these are probably the three most talked about in MC, I imagine. RL Darlton

I know that the quality J&M shoes has decreased in recent years in an effort to make them more available to the mainstream but the Johnston & Murphy Caver Wingtip in Antique Tan Calf is one of their best. Its made in Italy from calf leather. Looks great in the office with a pair of navy blue slacks.

Austerity brogues are pretty hard to find, I suppose.

You know you only invite hostile comments with this kind of tone, right? Seriously - if you don't like the forum, then leave. But don't come back and continue to ask questions if all you do is bash people and tell them how to respond to your posts. If you don't find SF helpful, then go somewhere else.

At the risk of being lambasted by the OP I will not be posting any photos or suggesting any shoes. On the other hand, please consider that this is not a men's magazine prone to oversimplifying matters to placate sponsors and sell copies....no, SF's flaws run much deeper than that.

On a more positive note, the information that you find here will also run considerably deeper once you wade through the sarcasm and such. While this may be a good question to kick things off, why not provide some thoughts of your own on what you are looking for, how you tend to or would like to dress and what you like or dislike about some of the shoes being posted. If you want a list of shoes you will get a list of shoes, but I would encourage you to take advantage of the forum to truly find what you want. I am willing to bet a thread of that nature might be met with more productive conversation that one might expect.

I recommend you call Mr. John Lobb (himself) and request a wingtip. He will be able to derive your shoe size also if you tell him the length of ********** (half mast for a good average length).

You fricking trolls. Unbelievable!! I have better things to do than waste my time reading nonesense posts by trolls like you. Stick to fashion! You clearly have too much time on your hands. To the rest of you, thanks for some good pictures and informative posts. After all, that's what this board is about. Please keep it coming and ignore these ignorant fools that have nothing else to do but hijack other people's threads. If you want to insult me, start a thread titled "Richard Pryor, you crack addict" and we can argue in there. This thread is about wingtips. Unreal the lack of respect in this board!

If RTW is the opposite of bespoke, then RTW.

What a waste of time you are Richard. I tried providing some useful suggestions to help you narrow in on what you are looking for despite your crappy attitude in the OP and this is your response? I felt that my points were relevant to your line of questioning and was prepared with many responses based on your feedback but now I think I'm going to have to figure out how to operate my block list. What a douchebag.
