I'm still working on the project of men's luxury multibrand store in Russia and I'm curious of your top-lists on shirts and suits.

I'm assuming you left out Geoffrey Beene only because they've had their nose up at the shirt industry for decades.

lol you guys are mean

In no particular order...

zegna
canali
kiton
brioni
belvest
barbera
partenopea
minerva
turnbull<-shirts

theres also 1 more that I remember part of the name but not all of it...
kiton/minerva/brioni are the most expensive of the 3, all make shirts, suits and acessories, don't think brioni makes shoes (themselves anyway)

I think it would be very hard to nail this down because everyone has different tastes and different budgets, and every company has different models. For example, I really like Isaia's S Body model, Zegna's Mila line, and Oxxford's Type A model, but the other Oxxford stuff I've tried on didn't wow me. Someone who's looking for conservative business dress may hate the Oxxford Type A but prefer their other lines. Ralph Lauren Black Label gets a lot of love here, and it's considered high quality, but I hate the way they look on me. I'd take a "lesser" brand over a RLBL any day.

I think you need to ask yourself what your target audience is, and what price range you're asking them to spend.

yes, you're right

And of course I know exactly whom we're targeting at... I just want to check out your lists again for the case I've forgotten something important. Of course such brands as brioni, kiton, zegna are well known all over the world, but i'm sure there are a lot of good brands we've never heard in Russia yet
