Hi all, I just posted (on my blog) an interview that I had with Tony Gaziano from shoemaking duo Gaziano & Girling. I thought that some of you might be interested in checking it out. I will paste the questions below so that you can decide if you want to check it out or not. Considering that I am not the first person to conduct an interview with Tony, I tried to ask questions that are were personal and that had not been asked before. Hope that you enjoy! ARTICLE HERE QUESTIONS: 1. What made you want to get into shoemaking? --Did you have inspiration? 2. What is the hardest thing about being a bespoke shoemaker? 3. What is your favorite thing about being a bespoke shoemaker? 4. What other bespoke shoemakers do you admire? 5. What is your least favorite thing about the shoe industry? 6. What is your favorite model out of all of the shoes that you make? --Why? 7. What can we expect from the future of Gaziano & Girling? --Where do you want to be in 10 years? 8. What can you tell me about the Deco range? 9. What piece of advice can you offer to aspiring shoemakers? Snippet: Q4: Answer - Dimitris Gomez, John Lobb Paris, Pierre Corthay, Cleverley, Foster & Sons, to be honest I don't get to see much of what the other guys are producing these days because it's hard to get out of the workshops, and I don't spend much time on the web.

Glad that you all enjoyed it. I know what a little piece of information can do from the right person especially if you want to follow in those footsteps. Tony is all of those things you said and more. He truly cares and is often frustrated that he can't do more, because there simply aren't enough hours in a day.
