I'm interested in purchasing a pair of Tom's because of the backstory, buy a pair and they donate a pair to a child in need. Wondering your opinions on a good color for the spring/ summer with shorts. My thoughts were either white, black, or navy but open to other suggestions.

Thanks

I like the gray ones, but you can't really go wrong with the colors you listed. I met some guys with the brand at a trade show last month and they are all really great people.

It's a cool concept but I find the actual shoes butt ugly. Not really my aesthetic I guess.

Why not just buy good-looking shoes then give money to charity? Don't mean to be an ass, but if you're looking for simple canvas shoes, chucks, purcells, or vans authentics would look a lot better.

Tom's certainly do have some appeal. I like the fun colors as well as the idea.
That being said, WMMK is right, there are better shoes out there. In my experience, they don't look good on everyone either.
