AThis is a vintage, pre-owned Tommy Nutter Savile Row suit. It is a grey glenn plaid with a red overcheck. Probably from the Nutter ready to wear line, it is not tagged for size, but will require a rather slim buyer. Please compare these approximate measurements to a suit that you know fits you well: chest (measured from arm pit to arm pit) 20", sleeves (measured from the shoulder seam) 23" +about 2" turned under, shoulders (measured from seam to seam) 17" and jacket length (measured from the bottom of the collar) 29". The double pleated trousers measure approximately: waist 27" (measured 13.5" across the front and doubled), 29.25" inseam and 39.25" outseam (measured from the top of the waist). They do not have cuffs and there is approximately 2" turned under at the hem.

Tommy Nutter was a classically trained tailor with a shop on London's Savile Row, home to London's finest tailors. Tommy's difference was his clientele. He catered to the rock star crowd. Three of the Beatles are wearing Tommy Nutter suits on the cover of the Abbey Road album. Mick Jagger was married in one of Nutter's suits. Nutter passed away in the early 1990s, making examples of his work quite rare and hard to find.
