I'll admit I'm a novice when it comes to fully understanding how suits are constructed. Here are a couple of photos from the Tom James web site showing the construction of suits from two of their custom made lines.

Based on the description, this one looks like it has a floating canvas chest piece with the rest being fused.

What is this? Full floating canvas? Fused?

In the first picture it appears to be fused and with floating canvas for God knows what reason. The second one I'm not sure.

Hmmm. Can someone explain to me the difference between full canvas, canvassed, and fused? Why are they good? Bad? What is the best? I've never quite understood what these terms mean.
