1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I would wear it in a heartbeat. I need to size down my clothing collection before buying anything new, Im on strict wife's orders of no buying until I sell. But those ties will be among the purchases I am guaranteed to make.

My Zegna tux has pretty freaking large lapels (5" at the largest point). My tailor commented that it looked like I was flying away. I love it, since I'm tired of seeing skinny lapels everywhere. I should be good with it for a while. At least the fashion brands have stayed away from wide lapels so far. I say we have a good 2-4 years until we see wide lapels at H&M.

Still, I think TF lapels must be around 7-8 inches... nuts.

But, to answer your question... I'd probably wear it. I'm more worried about the shoulders.

I forgot about the wide lapels.. it seems they go down very well and i personally like them so wouldn't question their usage!

The ties though.. at 5" wide are a bit much

lol I can't read. How did I misread Ties for Lapels? Definitely can't pull off 5" ties. I own a 4" TF tie and I find myself on the brim of not being able to pull it off.

3.5" is too wide for me, so anything even wider than that is certainly out of the question.

The most awful example i've seen where the velvet ones from last winter. Those things must've been 4-5 inches wide.
