If I had money enough to fund Cruise I definately would. The man is a marketing atom bomb, and his movies are always highly successful.
Yeah, but its Paramount, I’m sure they had a good reason(s) why they dumped him. I am sure they took the financial aspect of TC into consideration. Jon.

    Jon.

Because clearly Paramount never makes bad decisions?

Well obviously everyone makes mistakes, but I'm sure this had more thought put into it than just a casual glance. My point is that there could be other non-disclosed reasons for dropping him.

    Jon.

There has to be more to the story than Tom Cruise's off-screen conduct. Perhaps Tom was demanding that Paramount release the TomKat "home video"? [IMG]

    Seems that way, Soph . . .

You know, I don't think TC has been 'right,' ever since he made that abysmal film, with Stanley Kubrick. EYES SHUT OPEN, or whatever it was called. That was one, weird flick. [IMG]

Maybe TC was planning his own version of "Battlefield Earth"?

Tom Cruise is a top notch actor and should be respected for his skill

What does that have to do with this discussion?

I think bashing on Brooke Shields is what really did him in.
She sought proper medical care from an MD, something Tom Cruise is not.

I think it's for the bad publicity he has gotten from hes performances on Oprah, intervjues and the scientology.

It's may just be that easy.
