According to The Sun, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season.

I haven't seen any confirmations that it's a season-ender. I'd prefer something a little more reliable than the Sun

Yeah, I'm hearing that he's done for the season as well, but given Belichick's past history I'm not betting a dime on it. If I'm not mistaken, he's listed Brady as "questionable" for every game the last several years, no? He likes to stick it in the eye of the NFL every chance he gets.

That said, if he really is injured that would be too bad. I'm a big Cowboys fan, but you always want your team to beat the best. It's not a good thing for the other elite teams if the Pats are missing their biggest weapon.

I don't care if he's healthy or injured. Nothing can stop the Giants' march to the SuperBowl.

+1. while i hate the Pats, losing Tom Brady for a whole season sucks for the league.

I don't know about sucking for the whole league, but you never want to see someone get hurt. Maybe now the Lions will pull off some victories! Oh wait ...

That really sucks for Brady and for the team. He seems like a good guy and I love the way he plays. For the insufferable Patriot fans, however, I say this:

Sucks to see such a good player go down. I'd never wish that on anyone.

However, it's good news for the Colts.
