I have a coworker heading to Japan on business for about a week. He just asked if I knew any guidebooks or websites about sightseeing in Tokyo. Historical sights, places worth checking out, interesting neighborhoods. I promised him I knew important people who could answer his question so I have come here.

Any links to forward over to him would be remarkable.

The guy leaves friday so I don't think he wants to buy a guide. He's basically looking for a good website with suggestions. He'll be working long hours so won't have much time to explore a lot of the city.

Bic, thanks for the link I"ll take a look at it before I forward it to him.

edit - I just realized I asked for suggestions about guides, so I appreciate the superfuture suggestions. I'll take a quick look at it before I shoot it to him. I have a feeling he didn't want anything to buy, probably just a website with suggestions and such. Thanks, though.

Ya, I think it is a PDF for a nominal sum.

That's too bad, I would have recommended the Lonely Planet guidebook as well. I bought one for my 2008 trip to Tokyo and it came in very handy. It has a small fold-out map (in English) in the back, and that map was invaluable.
