So it seems the trousers are definite, but how likely is it that the sunglasses will be produced?

Also, jackets below coats like varsities, MA-1, etc., count as 1/2 points.

Drew, why do majority of Korean brands (big and small) make their stuffs from China? I mean I know China has cheap labor but so does Korea, and most people I know (sampling error maybe? :puzzled: ) have 'oh please not MIC' attitude when purchasing clothes online, since many e-shops omit country of manufacture.

They don't have much clothing manufacture left in Korea. All of those jobs have gone to China and other developing countries long ago. Everybody in Korea wanted to become a white collar.

Because Chinese factories have a larger economy of scale for larger design houses, resulting in cost savings across the board. The difference in quality of output nowadays between workers in developed and developing countries is small enough that it is no longer a consideration for fast fashion houses (and in some cases can even be better in China) , as evidenced by American Apparel and Uniqlo.

That the RMB is pegged to the USD is also conducive to conglomerates shifting production there, as it removes the cost of insuring against major changes in exchange rates and aids in projecting costs into the future.

For those houses that plan on having international distribution networks, having a factory in Guangzhou or Macau also grants them access to some of the largest ports in the world and their distribution channels.

It also helps that doing business in China requires you to only bribe the local officials enough to keep his mouth shut about violating environmental legislation and OH&S, so long as you're a low key player.

Alright, sorry for the long ass delay. I have been swamped and haven't had time to setup a tripod to take a pic.

Here is something for the overtime battle between Synthese and I.
