please, no monkey boots, they remind me of geriatric shoes.

A carpe diem styled side zip or back zip would be great, something that accommodates a boot tuck without looking like a cowboy boot.

How should we be realizing this? I don't see any posts that say what style of boot or shoe he is after. Are you just talking out of your ass?

Monkey boots are awesome, but in my mind they do not fit the TOJ look at all.

Got my TOJ1 today. Plan on getting a bomber soon. Any recommendations for mods Drew? This is a stock 50. I sized it myself (didn't bother Charly asking any sizing questions) based on measurements.

In the 3rd pic when the jacket is zipped you see like a crease probably due to being shipped. Stupid question, but can you iron wool? I always take my wool coats to dry cleaners so I've never tried. Will it go away on it's own after time? Also the way the jacket sits zipped it makes it look like I have a gut when I don't, I actually have a 10 inch drop from my chest to waist. Will this settle over time?

In the last pic it looks like there's a little extra fabric in the lower back. Is this due to the ribbing at the bottom as was said in a previous post? Is it possible to remove a little material from this section for a future jacket? Thanks.

Drew, what are you thinking of for TOJ shades? Classic Avi/Wayfarers or something more interesting?

The sunglasses I want to make are Japanese handlaid celluloid frames, completely classic quality, in a classic shape with a twist. TOJ leather case of course. Just gotta put the pieces together for those... trying to find a decent deal. They probably won't be cheap though.

    This + infinity

Seriously cows do you own any black side zips at all? CDiem style boots / shoes are one of the most flexible ever, the last goes with a lot, and its all in the choice of leather that makes the styling.

I must not be the only one who has black chelsea boots right? TBH they're pretty much as functional as sidezips with the added benefit of looking presentable with a suit. Drew, you mentioned earlier that you liked wearing a casual 'uniform' of white vnecks, apcs, a leather and white sneakers. Why not do the white sneaker thing?

I have a brown goat skin bomber, a cracked pepper fishtail, mid-grey lambskin BCDR, a dark olive lambskin harrington and used to have a suede A-1 but my father liked it so i gave it to him. The latest one is an ultra minimalist black lambskin DR. The harrington used to be my favorite but I think the UMDR is now the one :inlove:
