Synthese is entirely right, and I said it before, so I'm glad that the VTG is understood mostly - the VTG is like nothing else, and it's not the jacket most people want. It's... weird. It's like the bottle of white dog behind the bar that the bartender pulls out and says 'wait, you do understand what you're getting into, right?'

We're just trying all kinds of stuff out still. It takes awhile to get the skills needed to create a line of clothes - as a practical art, it's like cooking professionally, it takes years of making things and putting them at the mercy of customers to increase your game, and like good cooking, everybody needs to get a dish they're happy with and feel wasn't slopped together off a buffet line - that's where we've been trying to operate.
It's only a few of us and the metaphorical dining room here is small, but I'd rather be giving you things that speak for themselves without much hubbub, and letting people discern the takeaway on their own, rather than being some 21st century startup 'fashion brand' that just makes printed tees on AA with brand slogans and ****. I like to exceed and put more into the product, and yeah it doesn't look like a crusted **** covered CCP or a nappa RO with a 6" neck sheath and lots of wrinkles, but over time, I hope the vision translates. I think it will.

In other news, I found a shoemaker that meets the quality expectations I have, without having to pay for a hype brand name, 21st century style - I am enquiring within on this one, it is exciting. TOJ footwear and some (many?) new things I've always shelved before due to quality standards- those may soon rise.
