Also ordered duffle with quilted lining, would cupro sleeves offer a much slimmer look?

Just bumping this in case it was missed yesterday - can anyone answer?

Also I have taken measurements of a jacket and from my body, however I'm not happy with how the jacket fits. Could I post pictures and my measurements in this thread for people to advise how to size my TOJ?

You should email Charly with all that information. He'll be able to size you up!

lighter, like, you mean weight? it's way heavier. I wore my calf bomber today and felt like i was wearing nothing at all.

^ on the same note, how much heavier is the calf compared to the lamb leather?

So I suspect the calf is a little thicker and a littler denser, adding up to be 2x as heavy?

How much warmer is calf compared to lamb?

the calf is the same thickness as the lamb - it's all density. It's really that much heavier. I don't think you'd notice a difference in warmth between the two, tbh. If you did, it'd be miniscule and negated more easily by layering.

If it's anything like my FQHH jacket, the VTG is not warmer but you won't feel wind at all. Basically for cold weather you want to layer but for windy weather you can just tell the wind to go fuck itself. :slayer:

This is a very different fit from my other TOJ jackets (which were slim/short). It gives me a bit of a (much) less pronounced egg bomber feel.

As far as leathers go I'm pretty sure its just that whenever they/he find a color or type of leather that meets their quality expectations it is offered. But I could be wrong. For sizing email Charly at the address provided on the website. He can help you with any sizing concerns.

I am also curious about the S/S 2012 collection. Will the baseball jacket be produced again? I really want one of those and I missed the boat last time.

Also, I'm curious what you guys recommend as a good first leather. I have a vintage Schott Perfecto so I really like the aesthetic of the 2010 DR (obviously looking to upgrade to the quality of TOJ over Schott). But I've heard that the CM or bomber would make a better first "staple" leather. If it helps my wardrobe consists of a lot of button ups and plain t shirts. And for pants I mostly wear my pair of 3sixteen+ denim, and WvG dandy pants and chinos.

If you like your perfecto/it fits well you should probably look at a different style of leather. The bomber should work well with what you have.

Sorry dudes, messed that up I guess. The price was and should be $825, and not 810- anybody who paid $825 previous to this writing for a VTG though, can contact me for the $15 refund and I'll get them squared away.
