Sup everyone, was wondering if this was a typical status update/detail when tracking your TOJ package:

    Status: "Handed over to Customs"
    Details: "Customs retention reason: Other"

    Thanks.

Nevermind, found the answers I was looking for haha.

My financial bunghole is still aching after getting my jacket from the customs.:censored:
Added quite a bit to my bill...
    Still, absolutely worth it.

Indeed, the squeaking is the most distracting, but also kind of funny, part of the jacket. For me, the sleeves only begin to cause pain if I'm holding a phone up to my head or something, but my calf bomber already did that; this just does it a little worse because of the thickness/stiffness of the leather being compressed by my bent arm.

I haven't lotioned mine at all. So I'm taking Drew's "Zen" comment to mean that it'd be fine to not treat the jacket at all for now if I wanted to. Is that correct?

    Too much...

Your call, but I'd suggest low oil/fat lotion, quick rub and good brushing.

Got my jacket today, and will wear it tomorrow to the office, No probs..slightly Michael Jacksonesque...but fully wearable.

Shame, I would've easily gone with burgundy lamb over the burgundy russet FQHH I got. Of course in this weather I appreciate the FQHH.

The VTG looks great fresh but I imagine a few days in the sun will change the color. Any chance of ever offering a white lamb model? Would probably look great as a quilted DR or minimalist DR sans the color fading.

white lamb is a painted on finish, not the typical dyed or tanned finish I prefer to use. I like depth of color and tone in the leathers. Those quilted ones benefit from it greatly, it's 2D vs 3D

Contest entry. Not as cool as the undercover (or visvim?) guy but I tried.

haha nice. Although moto + oxford + sweater was my everyday Autumn style I just couldn't wear trousers with them.
No longer "Free and Easy" for me

edit: had to throw away the old bomber because people kept on pointing out the disparity of quality between it and the moto..
Updated future kop list to 2012 Daypack(depending on the price) + Moto's boots-2013 Bomber

I'd also love to get a TOJ chesterfield - I think there has been a few posts about this lately so I guess the demand is there? Any plans to produce them again in the near future?

I'm planning on ordering a peacoat and one leather within the next few days (With the hope of getting more in the future) what do you all think is a good first leather?

Depends on your style man, but the A2 in brown or black, or the Moto in black is always good to people.

The chesterfield, probably not this season. We're gonna be catching up in the next week or so with orders and by then I'll be wanting to sample for S/S12 clothing, so that it's there for orders. Limited menu this year. I need perfection out of these things or I don't want to sell them.
