dude, thank you though. I mean that. All of you guys, by doing business with me, have made something that is beyond me alone - it is pretty powerful. I've found that out tonight actually, more on that someday later I guess, if I can, sorry to be so cryptic. But TOJ working like this, making it work cooperatively, it is the new world order. :slayer:

    1) Well, time to restructure your priorities.
    2) If you make it in blue calf or horse, I'll buy one. BTW, they can sell. Check out the RRL Gambler. It's essentia I don't wear lamb. I need something that can stand up to bar fights in western WA.
    3) It doesn't look like a laptop bag, at all. Too big. Check out the dimensions. Really, it looks like a backpack at first glance. I wouldn't say that it looks vintage, but it definitely does not say "laptop". My laptop is a Panasonic Toughbook T-30. So, holding it anywhere but on the back for any extended period of time would probably cause some damage.

i will agree that every man needs a sick/slick laptop bag. Make a laptop bag rhat can accommodate a 15" lappy and you've won over everyone's hearts. Seriously. I don't carry my 15" laptop ED but i do need it for travel. just sayin....

i actually bought a well used filson 258 briefcase but it's too small unless I feel like ripping it apart with the zipper everytime I slide it in and out(it's really tight). I could always just bring my netbook but PC GAMING and I hate a small screen for anything other than watching movies

started carrying my iPad and a keyboard around sometimes, but the iPad ain't much of a powerhouse..... lol

It's kind of sad, but I need an iPad, an 11" Macbook Air (don't have though), a Macbook Pro 15" and some sort of Mac desktop, I have a kind of routine and use for each one when it comes to work. sogay4steve

Somewhat ironically I live in the US and have all Taiwanese electronics :nest: (acer, asus, etc) My main laptop is a powerhouse but lacks the build quality of apple/higher-end stuff. I typically bring my asus netbook for watching avi's/whatever browsing my iphone can't handle, but I just can't imagine viewing anything less than 15" for any extended amount of time (HDMI-OUT be damned) and I do need to travel across the country a few times a year. BALLISTIC NYLON IS NOT BECOMING!

w/r/t/ bags, I just want a messenger bag with a briefcase-type handle, so I can carry it around in one hand if my back gets too effed up to wear it over my shoulder.

Would love to see a leather Type 1.

My ultimate bag would be a calf or fqhh version of the Filson 256.

This thread is killing me slowly, but I can't leave. So much interesting discussion. The car talk is depressing (Synthese and the 996 turbo, ffffuuuu...). I love cars and had to give up my wheels for a baby-hauler for the lady, leaving me to drive an automatic '03 Civic. Then I go and sell my MinDR to Manchego because I need money for new living quarters. I feel like my man card is fading away like Marty's family photo in Back to the Future.
