In my eyes, that just looks dumb for a lot of obvious reasons. If the TOJ Moto with the public domain cafe racer design and TOJ detailing could considered austere and relatively modest for the purpose, which I think it can at times now, then this is basically the opposite.

Yeah that's perfectly reasonable, but what you're describing is exactly what I find appealing in it. I could never fully pull off a fringed leather jacket with tassels in 2011, as much as I may want to, so I'm drawn to something like this where it's rustic (ugh) in such a way that reminds me of something of that vintage, while somehow being very "now" in my eyes. At the end of the day I'm still an #americana kid, remember. That said, I should probably be looking at one of your A2s instead. Gonna keep following this thread to see when Charly is in NYC next

That's Charly's cue but I imagine he will be there very soon, I know he was just there eating Crif dogs recently. You guys do have to realize that it's not a traveling service considering NYC and we don't put money into that, so if you want to be measured you will need to meet with Charly at a prescribed time and find your way there. I don't want to spend money on that side of things because it'd raise the prices for everybody worldwide, and in response the service is there but like I said, I can't spend money on it and it'll be at Charly's decree.

If i gather I thinl that means you have to go to Brooklyn to see Charly. Willy cheesesteak only gets up at like 7pm, otherwise I'd have you guys try to see him for measurements in Manhattan on commission.

That's the thing. For those that say you want to come, be positive you're going to come. Because if I plan this out, I'll be there and I don't want dropouts.

That's true, you guys in Tokyo are always welcome for a measuring for a TOJ, false has taken advantage of it, waiting to see who else's body is ready for me. I am around town all the time, but Tokyo is kind of dead clothes-wise lately. Too bad they don't realize TOJ leathers are coming in at the 5X,XXX yen level nowadays with the exchange rate.
