Shirt is Gant by Michael Bastian S/S 2011, it was called slubby cotton or something. Might still be up on Epaulet's site.

Drew, can you make me a VTG CM? I sent you a long, tiresome email last week basically asking this. :embar:

Also wondering this. Feels like anything approaching the state of liquid is like kryptonite when wearing it (also implying it makes you feel like superman).

I haven't tried, but I know there's tons of spray-on waterproofers for suede jackets out there. Likewise, other stuff can be waterproofed as you wish - that high-tech spray on stuff doesn't hurt to add to a jacket if you're hoping for water resistance.

I'm still bouncing around the idea of the duffle coat this year, it will be made, just don't know if I should take away all the toggles and make a TOJ Minimalist duffle, or continue with the toggle thing. We have nice horn toggles so it seems a shame to toss them aside, but we did make them for two years with toggles and so I wouldn't mind a change of pace. The rest of the design is pretty set in my head.

^ I pledge to a kop of a grey duffle with toggles. (Actually thought all Duffels had toggles, but it seems to only refer to the fabric, TIL)

I think without toggles is the right direction and in line with TOJ

i just imagine a coat that is much cleaner looking with the lines instead of the toggle closure.

seems more like the TOJ aesthetic like with the leathers and other jackets.

i always think TOJ has a clean minimalist look that lets the hardware (zippers ) and general quality speak for itself.

    oh and drew,
what is the width of that tie I pmed you about, thanks btw :embar:

Id be pretty interested in a Minimalist Duffle and the shorter coat, I'm hoping an N3B jacket with fur hood
