What happens if I'm digging a discontinued design? Do you guys make exceptions once in a while?
If your name starts with a Barack and ends with an Obama, I can make exception.
better go change my name
what about for this guy?
alright, he gets one. But barely - he just turned 21. I don't serve TOJ to minors, it's dangerous stuff.
The first one was pretty easy, and the baseball jacket involved no wait, so I'm already dreading this. Especially since he hasn't even answered my damn email. Cough.
it's the weekend, dawg- gotta get out and have family times too
Tongue in cheek, Mr. Miyagi; I'd hope you'd take the goddamn weekends off.
Received my black lamb MDR last week. When I first tried it on I wasn't pleased with the fit; it was hard to really get a head for the measurements that would suit me best without actually owning a jacket that fit me well. But after a week of wear I'm really digging the fit. I lost my camera charger somewhere so I can't give fit pics but it does seem rather remarkable how a leather jacket can break in in the right places. I wanted a comic book/badass fit and there's not a ton of error room there so I probably should have done more research into the fit I was looking for. But it all worked out in the end and is a learning experience to boot. Overall happy with the product and the overall experience.
Can anyone give me advice or a link on how to mold the collar into shape? I have one end that points up a bit. Also is it possible with lamb to train the lower "lapels" to stand up like nowithit mentioned and showcased in post 9042? I prefer the look of them not snapped down but when I don't the two halves of the snaps come together and make an occasional clicking sound. Nitpicky? Sure is, but any advice appreciated.
Life is good.
i got a tailor to close my gussets. a pretty easy job.
Just don't snap the lapels down, maybe wear it zipped up all the way. I just keep my collar up all the time, it should stay.
Sent from my HTC Sensation
wet them slightly
Lapels are different on the BCDR; they don't snap down.
We're getting there... jacket is done but needs a few more dress-up items (fur, snaps, and then some beadwork and tassles on the cuffs...
