I miss winter, I want to get back to wearing my chesterfield. It is such a nice coat, I'm amazed more people didn't buy / post fit pics / etc. Maybe I need to kop more ToJ to hold me over. [IMG]

Sorry if it's been mentioned but I can't find a post mentioning the price of the anniversary pieces. Have you decided on them yet?

they're $275 each in the technical nylon, the only options will be to add or subtract length, and shell color, linings are standarized. Lamb suede versions can be made but they'll cost what lamb suede jackets have always costed, which is a lot.

wait so all linings for the MA-1 will be bright orange?

edit: alright, that's cool. It's just lining any ways.

Anyone can wear leather. Nobody is gonna jump out of a bush and say, "ah HAH! i see you're wearing leather, you must think you're fonzy or some shit!"

Actually this happened to me. granted, the guy was drunk, but still.

grow your hair long and look like me, and people will not say anything about the leather jackets all the time because they will fear being cut by a samurai [IMG]

Weighing heavily between langlitz and TOJ 2011 moto (quilted) in grey. You wouldn't happen to have the various gray swatches, would you? I'm most likely gonna lean towards the darkest, but you never know. That or red. [IMG]

is a hot water spray recommended to wash off the excess lanolin on the new leathers? I'm not really into the washed leather hype but I'd like mine to look good.

I too would like to know a little more about the necessity of this before I go throwing my nice new leather in the shower...

He never said it was necessary. He said, if you wanted to, you could spray a light mist of hot water on the lamb to get rid of the excess gloss (not necessary, only if you want to speed up the natural process of losing some of the sheen). I suppose you could spray the collar a bit more as well, to help shape/mold it, like Drew recommends. I don't know why you'd want to get rid of the buttery softness of the lamb, though.
