Does the collar stay up like in the 3rd picture with relative ease? It looks pretty stylish.
The stitching on the placket is also a very nice touch.

It seems like a much roomier fit than the previous bombers, is this true? Or is it just the sizing you opted for? I like it, just looks like a slightly different aesthetic.

Also, that leather looks so nice. One of my caveats with the brown bombers from ToJ is that they doen't seem to have much character, which other browns or burgundies do have (i.e. aero, even though their styles/fits suck). ToJ brown (and black, but less of an issue with black) seems so saturated and flat, but the brown featured here looks like it has more character and depth than most of the calf browns I've seen from ToJ. Please tell me that is indeed calf.

all jackets are MTM as always, and the samples are just the sizing I chose for the samples - and they're lamb, the same lamb as I've used since day one.

I'm wondering if you'd stick a shearling collar on the other one for an upcharge.

I've developed a big crush on that thing.

Not pulling any triggers until maybe late summer-ish though. Got that tuition to pay.

I know it's high quality lamb, and I know he uses excellent high quality calf too (I have a ToJ jacket). But there are plenty of calf leathers that have more character (not distressing, but depth), not that ToJ calf doesn't develop beautiful character, of course. And if you understood my statement, you'd know I was complimenting the leather in the photo, I just wish it were calf with that texture, as I'm not getting lamb for a while.

from a function standpoint i think the plackets on the new bombers are great

from a fashion standpoint i don't like how it looks when wearing it unzipped

is there anyway to make it not show? maybe use metal snap buttons to snap it onto the lining of the jacket

is the 2010 bomber still available?

What function does the plackets provide?

To be honest, I think the visibility of the plackets while unzipped looks great and is one of the two reasons I'm considering to order one.

Drew stated that the placket is optional on the bomber BTW.

I don't even know how you undergrads are making big purchases like this. I was happy with Nikes, Jordans, and Vans along with stuff from Gap. [IMG]
