    Hey fellas,

I am sorry to ask a n00bie question, but I was wondering if the fit of the new TOJ Bombers is different than old 2.2 versions or even older ones? I think the measuring charts show pretty much the same measurements. I have an old Bomber in size 48 and never bothered to check the measurements because I figured a 48 would work for me and it did. Anyways, I want to order the current Bomber for a relative who lives overseas. He is 5'10" and weighs about 165 lbs. He wear S or M in most things. S in EG, POLO RL etc and M in Gitman. He'll probably wear a sweater underneath the jacket as well. I was initally thinking of ordering him the 48, but my 48 measures 19-19.5" in the chest and he would need at least a 20" chest. Hopefully I am not measuring it incorrectly, but if anybody wants to confirm what their 2.2 or the current bomber in Size 48 measures, I would greatly appreciate it. Old and new measuring charts say the chest on 48 should be over 20".

    Cheers,
    -ffatt

    ^mines a 48 and it's 21.5" pit to pit...

Drew can clear up any questions you have as far as sizing/fit betweeen the 2 better than anyone else on here so i would suggest shooting him an email

^just have him take the measurements drew listed several pages back for the raffle, send those to toj and they will just make it perfect...(also mention that he wants to layer with it)

^ yes, just do the 7 measures + a front length to your taste, and it's just a matter of multiplying your measurements to get a set of jacket measurements. Super easy. I just need you to measure correctly, though. [IMG]

Is that possible that there are still no pics of the BCDR here or in the pixi gallery??

Here are a few from today. I'm sure many of you would go shorter and tighter but I'm an old geezer and that's how I like my clothes to fit.

I wear it open 90% of the time. Zip it half or 2/3 up in the evening or when it gets cooler.

Are these gonna go back up at some point? All I'm seeing is a message that they've been moved or deleted.

i think his hair is too boring to rock a jacket like that effectively

    also jeans are too lose

quilting's not necessary IMO, he just doesn't do it right

I think it fits great? Not sure where the poor fit comments are coming from.
