Hello Drew:
Thanks for the update. I am waiting on a February 2014 CWU size 54/52. My name is Calvin. I am the original purchaser and have not changed the shipping address. I will be sending you two e-mails: one e-mail with the original e-mail chain between me and Charly and a new fresh e-mail that will outline specifics details to my order. Please reach out to me if you need any more information. Thank you for sorting through these jackets and ensuring everyone gets their product. It is appreciated.
PS: Charly if you read this whiskey is still on me at Parx!

Cmon now, Drew. I don't think anyone is expecting good news on these large wallets, but spill the beans already. We paid for the stupid things over a year ago for your fundraiser

my butt is clenched for a wallet update

Also sounds like there's more jackets than just these.

Who knows, maybe this is bullshit, but it's something. Kind of incredible how many jackets have been sitting around.

That's an understatement.

Bad luck if any of the people to whom those jackets belong have sold their spots in the past 6 months, or however long those jackets have been sitting there, as it means that the person who bought the spot won't get a jacket in their size.

Seems like there was a miscommunication between Drew and Charly? It seems Drew was under the expectation orders (changing specifications, selling spots) would full out stop last April. You would put in your order, and wait. He took Charly off the TOJ payroll as he felt his services were no longer needed. But Charly kept going.

For all the exceptional aspects of the TOJ company (and there are many), communication isn't one of them.

Can no communication really be called miscommunication?

The guy should look at the damn Paypal receipts...

He can't if the account is frozen.

I know it shouldn't take much to unfreeze it, but there are tons of horror stories about Paypal out there. Even for accounts holding significant sums of money, they can get needlessly frozen (a single chargeback, money being routed long distance) and it takes months and months for Paypal to even acknowledge it.

Anyway I'm just rumour-mongering and I'm more than happy just to sit tight and wait for the entire story to develop. Hopefully Drew pops back in this thread again.

My account got frozen when I sold like a bunch of stuff for just a couple thousand, and it was a ******* pain ********** to get it up again. Paypal requires you to explain how/why/what and provide evidence of correspondence, etc. If TOJ did take in over a million bucks worth of orders, and with the lack of a proper system, I can't imagine how long it will take Drew with the little time he gets.

Sorry to interrupt, but can S. Gardner from some pages back, as well as misterswag/Natalie please send or re-send your PM's with your mailing addresses here on SF? I need access to those addresses right now and I have a deluge of pm's/emails and want to take care of the backpacks at this moment.

I believe that refers to backpacks and small wallets with unsendable addresses. Large wallets have never been sent out and who knows if they were even produced. A status update for those would be nice. @impolyt_one

I'm just curious. At any time during this debacle, has Drew ever come on here and said anything like this?

"To all those waiting almost two years for your jackets, I'm sorry. It wasn't ever meant to go this way'.
