1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

alternatively, if you can somehow find someone who's both willing to buy your spot and already has measurements from another toj, that could work out too

with that said, if anybody wants a spot for a medium whiskey calf jacket, hmu!

I'm curious what happened with the legal pursuits, if only to keep in mind for the future.

I would not promote the selling of spots, it honestly just complicates things at this point.

I second @dieworkwear 's advice. It's the cleanest and simplest way to get out of this purgatory. And buying a spot at this point... you may as well be throwing money into a fire.

@Death24xASecond For reasons of common sense, it'd be best to just PM dieworkwear directly.

@Spaghettimatt Congrats on the jacket, brother. Fit pics would be awesome.

Yeah, I've put my details in the spreadsheet with no request for a refund. We'll see what happens when the jacket gets delivered.

okay, i'll admit that it's too early to tell, but assuming that jackets do continue to come out as steadily (even if slowly) as they are now, buying a spot shouldn't be risky nor should it be a hassle given the existence of the current spreadsheet

it's much better than having a jacket made to your body's specs and hoping that there's somebody else out there who's similar to you (though this would probably be a bigger problem for me than others), not to mention having to sell it off at a significant discount

Jacket came today. Very impressed. Nicely packed over 3 layers of a plastic bag, a TOJ tote, and a carton box. Fits like a dream. Super thick calf MDR with antique hardwares. Fast shipping. Good seller. Will do business again. A++++

Sorry the saga of bad mirror pics (and messy af room) continues but I finally got a break off of class to go pick it up (arrived on Monday...got the slip). I ordered a lamb MDR with gunmetal zips. The leather is nice, honestly I didn't expect it to be as thick as it is. Ordered in October of 2013 and as of today I am #87 on the spreadsheet.

Oops forgot to mention that mark in the bottom left is on the mirror not the jacket.

I don't mind as long as the customers moved above me ordered earlier. Obviously I'd like to be in the next batch but I think it's just fair that those who ordered their earlier get their jackets earlier too.

Might be risky if orders for production were placed but they're not reflected in the spreadsheet.

Drew more or less said that if he has to give refunds, he'll also have to kill himself - so yeah, safe to say you better try and get a jacket.
